This spring, CMC Construction Services (CMC CS) is focusing on technical training for both Tilt-up and Formwork rental systems. CMC CS senior sales representatives and product managers will conduct classroom and hands-on training for employees throughout the company. Ongoing training and education represents an opportunity to better serve our customers, reduce safety risks and establish a set of guidelines that maximize product performance.
Jimmie Ballard, National Tilt-Up Product Manager, is training on CMC’s two styles of lifting inserts, bracing inserts, temporary tilt-up braces (from 7’-6” to 52’ long), lifting hardware and bond breakers. He’ll also cover our in-house tilt-up engineering capabilities for lifting & bracing design and professional embed plate location drawings.
Ben Pratt, Senior Forming Sales Representative, is training on CMC’s two main formwork product lines, Meva Lite and Symons Steel Ply, as well as our in-house engineering services. Meva Lite is a simple yet high-tech, light-weight aluminum clamp system that brings greater flexibility and cost-saving to on-site concrete projects. Meva Lite weighs between 5 & 6lbs per square foot depending on panel size.
