The Corpus Christi Hooks; a AA minor league baseball team in Corpus Christi, Texas recently honored Texas Sterling Construction for the construction work completed on Port Avenue near Whataburger field. Employees from CMC Construction Services in Corpus Christi were extended an invitation to share in the honor because of the products and services they supplied. CMC Construction Services supplied the curing compound, lumber, rebar, hand tools,paving chairs and other products for these concrete paving projects.
Texas Sterling has several ongoing projects with the City of Corpus Christi near the ballpark throughout the summer. The City of Corpus Christi is replacing existing asphalt roads with concrete paving. Concrete paving will significantly extend the life of the roads. Federally funded studies show that concrete roads and highways around the United States last on average 2.5 times longer than asphalt.
