On April 14, CMC Construction Services in Fort Worth, Texas held an Open House to celebrate their move to a new facility on I-35W. Local contractors and industry affiliates attended the event which featured vendor demos, music and prizes. Lunch was prepared and served by Lee Roy Jordan Lumber Company, with a special guest appearance by former Dallas Cowboys linebacker, Lee Roy Jordan.
More than 20 vendors including Bosch Power Tools, Euclid Chemical Companyand L.M. Scofield displayed products and conducted demonstrations for customers.
The event wrapped up with a Riding Trowel Rodeo. North Texas Sales Manager Russell Frank and Mike Stanchak from Allen Engineering organized the rodeo for local concrete finishers to compete for prizes. Six competitors took two turns through a cones course and trophies were awarded for the top (3) fastest times.
