Structural

CMC Cary Engineering is a structural engineering consulting firm established in 1984 by William E. Cary, PE and based in Greenville, South Carolina. CMC CE provides structural design services throughout the United States for educational, commercial, industrial, institutional, residential and government projects.

Backed with our experience of over 4700 successful jobs, CMC CE is able to provide practical, creative designs and consultations for new construction, rehabilitations, and forensic investigations for practically any type of structure. This experience, teamed with the latest analysis software and CMC CE-developed programs, results in structures which are more efficient and more easily constructed.

Along with offering traditional design-bid-build services, CMC Cary Engineering is on the forefront of the design-build construction industry. Working side-by-side with architects, contractors, and fabricators, CMC CE’s streamlined design production allows for the development of several designs for the same project in order to find the best value for the owner. CMC CE has recently embraced the electronic data interchange, BIM, between design software and structural steel detailing software which produces more accurate shop drawings in less time. CMC CE’s knowledge of construction and fabrication sequences and processes is invaluable to the entire design/build team.
